This is the first course in a four-part series that discusses Copesan's Signature CARE service program. After completion of this course, the learner will be able to explain why the Signature CARE program was created, will say it is a partnership between Copesan and clients, and explain the benefits that clients gain from having a Signature CARE program.

| 02 - Principles of Integrated Pest Management

This is the second course in a four-part series that discusses Copesan's Signature CARE service program. After completion of this course, the learner will be able to explain what is meant by Integrated Pest Management, list the components of Integrated Pest Management, and give examples of each; explain, given a description of a situation, the best non-chemical and chemical techniques to use in order to correct the problem; tell why it is important to practice IPM in food processing plants and related facilities; explain, given a list of tools used in IPM, what component of IPM that tool supports.

| 03 - Regulatory Compliance and GMP's

This is the third course in a four-part series that discusses Copesan's Signature CARE service program. After completion of this course, the learner will state that, in addition to being important for our own legal reasons, regulatory compliance ensures a safe food supply; be able to recognize proper food-safety practices and match them to the specific components of the Good Manufacturing Practices; explain what FIFRA is, and how its provisions pertain to pest management work within food plants; explain the function of private, invited inspection agencies that rate food safety, such as AIB, ASI, Cook and Thurber, and others.

| 04 - Signature CARE Procedures and Documentation

This is the fourth course in a four-part series that discusses Copesan's Signature CARE service program. This course is required of all currently-certified Signature CARE technicians for 2006 recertification.

| Elements of Signature CARE
|
|
This is a blended learning experience whose purpose is to acquaint technicians, supervisors, managers and sales staff with the Signature CARE program and provide a base of knowledge about how to perform pest management in food processing and storage facilities. By "blended" is meant that the course itself provides an opportunity to take a Pre-Assessment quiz and take part in a learning experience online, and also take the Signature CARE IPM Specialist Certification exam online. Thus, it is now possible to obtain certification on one's own time, in a place of one's own choosing.
