RT01 - PDA Software Basics
The RapidTrax program operates on a Personal Data Administrator (PDA). Properly configuring a PDA is an important first step to using RapidTrax. RapidTrax uses the clock and calendar on your PDA to capture service times and dates. Proper power and backlight settings will help maximize battery life and adjust the screen brightness for different conditions. This course will guide you through the steps necessary to navigate through all the programs on the PDA as well as configure date, time, power, and backlight settings. Additionally, you will understand which setting will conserve battery power in order to keep your PDA running longer in the field.

RT02 - Configuring RapidTrax
When sending a letter, it is necessary to put the proper name, address, and zip code on the envelope or the letter will not be delivered. RapidTrax also relies on accurate information in order to transmit information between the PDA and the RapidTrax server. RapidTrax must be properly configured with the technician’s identification number, PDA serial number, and web address. This course will guide you through the steps necessary to configure your PDA so that it can receive the appropriate service tickets for your route.

RT03 - Configuring Dial-up Connections on Pocket PC 2002
RapidTrax receives service orders from and sends service information to a RapidTrax server. One method RapidTrax uses to communicate with a RapidTrax server is through a dial-up connection for a pocket pc 2002 version. This method uses a phone line and modem. This course focuses on how to configure your PDA so that it can connect to a RapidTrax server using a dial-up connection.

RT04 - Configuring Dial-up Connections on Pocket PC 2003
RapidTrax receives service orders from and sends service information to a RapidTrax server. One method RapidTrax uses to communicate with a RapidTrax server is through a dial-up connection for a pocket pc 2003 version. This method uses a phone line and modem. This course focuses on how to configure your PDA so that it can connect to a RapidTrax server using a dial-up connection.

RT05 - Synchronizing RapidTrax Database
Once you have properly configured your PDA and RapidTrax to communicate with the RapidTrax server via the web, a synchronization process that you need to follow to complete an upload/download is necessary. This course will guide you through the steps to synchronize your PDA so it can receive the appropriate service tickets for your scheduled appointments and upload completed service work.

RT06 - Service Order Details (Version 2)
Knowing specific information about a service order is important. Technicians need to know the client name, address, type of service, time of service, special requirements, special concerns or sensitivities, etc. This course will instruct you on what type of service order detail is available from the Service Order Details screen and guide you through the steps necessary to access this information. Also, you will learn how to open, pause, and close a service order.

RT07 - Starting Service on RapidTrax
Once you have successfully synchronized with a RapidTrax server, RapidTrax on your PDA will have service orders assigned to you. It is important to know how to start RapidTrax, locate and open the appropriate service orders. This course will guide you through the steps to open service orders and enable RapidTrax to begin tracking service work with the PDA.

RT08 - Performing Device Inspections with RapidTrax
Pest control traps, bait stations, monitors, and other equipment on RapidTrax are called devices. When using RapidTrax, it is important to know how to locate devices on the PDA, record activity, and make notes. This course will guide you through the steps needed to locate pest control devices and record pest activity and device notes.

RT09 - Recording Pesticide Applications
Clients, federal and state laws require accurate records of pesticide applications. RapidTrax allows you to record pesticide applications to facility sites and pest control devices. This course will guide you through the steps necessary to record pesticide applications to either a facility site or a pest control device.

RT10 - Recording Deficiencies and Recommendations
Communication is one of the keys to successful pest management. The facility being serviced may have some deficiencies that are conducive to pest activity. With RapidTrax, an accurate record of these deficiencies and resolution recommendations are tracked until the deficiency is resolved. This course will guide you through the steps to record device deficiencies, site deficiencies, and site recommendations.
