02 - Carpenter Bees

This is another one of the fascinating bees and wasps that often become a part of our customer’s lives. Its unique feature is its ability to build nests in solid wood where it will raise its young. Another bee that rarely stings but creates much fear in homeowners because of its nest building habits. This program looks into those habits that are unique to the carpenter bee and outlines some control strategies to eliminate them from burrowing holes in our customers’ buildings.

This is another beneficial insect that can occasionally inspire fear in the homeowner and do so just because of their large size. These solitary ground dwellers can sometimes nest in large numbers causing a homeowner to panic. They look ferocious but very rarely sting. This program explains how they live and how they occasionally come in contact with man. Although sometimes hard to control this program also discusses the techniques used to control them.

06 - Honey Bees

The honey could be said to be one of the most beneficial insects to man in the entire insect world. They are key pollinators to many plants that are crucial to the survival of mankind. The honeybee also provides us food as well as ingredients that are used to make many products used by us. Unfortunately our two worlds occasionally collide and the out come from a honeybee string can be very serious. In this program you will learn about the living habits of the honeybee and techniques used to control them when that becomes necessary.
